What issues do you think affect young people in your constituency the most? Probably the lack of things to do.

During your time as an elected member, what do you hope to achieve? To know I have made a difference! To make UKYP fully known and used in my local area and also to know that I’ve fully contributed to my Local Youth Parliament campaigns and my regional campaign.

If you could change one thing about Britain, would it be? I would change the prices for University, change them to a lower amount – an amount for what university is actually worth. I think it’s devastating that intelligent, ambitious, good young people lose out on university because they can’t afford it.

Do you feel that the young person in 2011 is listened to? No I don’t think we’re listened to, the government need to learn to work with us not be against us. We’re not all criminals ‘up to no good‘. We have brilliant ideas stored away ready for the future.
