What issues do you think affect young people in your constituency the most?

Violence in the community and gang culture are rife in the inner city areas. Unemployment is also a key concern.

In your time as an elected member, what do you hope to achieve?

 Saving more money for youth services in the city. Serious ‘efficiency savings’ are being made by the City Council at this time and as elected members we must ensure that young people are always consulted about changes to services that they rely on.

 If you could change one thing about Britain, would it be?

There would be less division between communities in inner-city areas and no sense of suspicion or mistrust between the old and the young.
